We are Open! Please Read our Safety Procedures

Knoxville Municipal Golf Course is taking the threat of COVID-19 very seriously. Guided by the recommendations of the CDC and the State of Tennessee, we have been making numerous changes to our golf operations to assist in providing the safest experience as possible for our guests and staff.

While understanding the real threat of the current conditions we are also trying to provide some level of physical activity and limited social interaction. Establishing this balance during a very fluid situation will be challenging, however, we are working to implement processes and practices to meet this dual objective.

Social Distancing Standards

In an effort to protect the health and safety of our employees and guests, we are following Social Distancing Standards recommended by the Center for Disease Control. These standards will be strictly enforced without exception. We appreciate your patience and understanding as our employees diligently work to provide a safe environment for everyone. Thank you!

Pre-Paid Rounds at Knoxville BOOK HERE

We are happy to announce that all tee times booked online will be paid for at time of booking. This will allow you to check-in without the need to transfer cash or credit card between yourself and the Golf Shop Attendant while minimizing the amount of time yourself and other guests will spend inside the clubhouse. This new process for online bookings is yet another step in our ongoing efforts to adhere to the CDC recommended social distancing standards.

As such, all tee times booked online must be paid for at time of booking. Once you have logged into the booking system, you may not see the “normal” rate which you would have ordinarily expected to pay – this will be particularly true for Members, Players Pass Cardholders, and other guests who fit one of our various discounted rate categories (college student, military veteran, etc.). However, many of you may be pleasantly surprised to find rates available to book online which are cheaper than the standard public rate you might normally expect to pay. In the event that you would like to pre-pay for your round but do not see your discounted rate listed online (Member, Players Pass, & other discount rates), we ask that you to call the golf shop directly to make your reservation, at which time we are able to process your booking via credit card over the phone.

We are also encouraging guests to walk rather than ride, when possible. Not only is walking the best form of exercise, but our “1 Person per Cart” policy limits the amount of available carts for tee times. So while we might not have a cart available to allow for a riding round at a certain time due to that limitation, we would almost certainly be able to fit you in should you choose to walk instead of ride.

This is only temporary as we understand the real threat of the current conditions while also trying to provide some level of physical activity. Establishing this balance during a very fluid situation will be challenging, and if for any reason you cannot make your tee time or encounter an issue please email us at info@GolfKnox.com with the name, date and time of reservation.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation with the various measures we have put into place over the past several weeks, including this new online booking pre-payment system. All of these new procedures and guidelines are efforts to achieve our most important goal right now, which is to keep yourself and our staff safe and healthy while providing a fun, enjoyable experience playing this game we all love.
